The proposal

John was acting sneaky the weeks leading up to Ana's birthday.  A few days before, he suggested a late dinner reservation to allow time for a romantic walk beforehand.   She was a bit suspicious, February in Boston being an odd time for romantic walks.  Sure enough, as soon as the two got to Jamaica Pond, John pulled out a poem he had written and printed, and read it out loud.  He rhymed about their relationship, from awkward first dates to that night.  The rest is history, and a celebratory dinner was had with fondue and a few glasses of wine.  Because it was the weekend of Ana's birthday, they had plans with friends the night before, which turned into a really awesome and fun impromptu engagement celebration!
